The Genesis Physiotherapy Team

 

The Bahamas Physical Therapy team at Genesis Physiotherapy are highly experienced and qualified practitioners that focus on the assessment and treatment of the client as a whole. We place special emphasis on educating the patient on how to effectively manage their condition, restoring balance toward a healthy and active lifestyle.

Hannah Foster-Middleton

Physiotherapist

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, SRP

 

A graduate of the University of Brighton, Hannah has dedicated her career to providing the best possible care for her patients. First as an Registered Nurse and then expanding her education to obtaining a degree in Physical Therapy. Hannah specialized in Manual Therapy with a special focus on Spinal Decompression. She launched Genesis Physiotherapy in September 2008 and has developed a strong client base through her dedication and skill.

Seaneá Bowe

Exercise Therapist & Clinic Administrator 

ISSA Certified & BS Athletic Training

Seaneá has a passion for sports, physical fitness and helping others which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Barry University. She also completed two certification courses in Exercise Therapy and Fitness Nutrition with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).

 

Seaneá hobbies are exercising, dancing, networking and helping others. She possesses a positive, optimistic and enthusiastic attitude wherever she can help.

Stella Thompson

Physical Therapy Associate Degree

 

Stella Thompson is standing as the Grand Commonwealth Party’s candidate for the Marathon Constituency. A multi disciplinary professional, she has an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, is a certified Ergonomics Evaluation Specialist and a Massage Therapist. She is also a a BLS Instructor for the American Heart Association.

As the 7th of 9 children born to the late Samuel and Grace Evans, she learned to be resilient and self-sufficient at an early age which shaped her passion for healthcare and safety in the workplace. She and husband, Gregory have been happily married for 27 years and have two children and 3 grandchildren.

A busy woman, and a devoted Anglican, she takes time from her own interests of cooking and exercising to volunteer with the Bahamas Girl Guides Association and spend time with the elderly in her community.

Yasmin R. Sweeting

Home Care Physiotherapist

 

Yasmin R. Sweeting is a Bahamian Registered Physiotherapist with two decades of experience. She is a graduate of The University Of The West Indies and has completed numerous certification courses in, Cranio-sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Alternative Therapy, Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury, as well as Continuing Education courses involving the diagnosis and treatment of many orthopedic injuries and conditions.

 

Yasmin joined Genesis Physiotherapy primarily as our home care Physiotherapist. She is compassionate and dedicated to achieving optimal results from each individual patient and is truly an asset!
